What arrives, and how it goes in.

Qarhami Track

In the box: The Qarhami Track tracker and its wiring harness.
Installation: Hardwired under the dashboard. An experienced installer takes 30 to 45 minutes, plus about an hour to add lock, unlock, horn and engine controls. We recommend a professional installer if you're new to vehicle wiring.
Testing: Your installer tests each feature on the Qarhami installer portal before handing the car back.

Qarhami OBD

Setup: Plug it into the car's OBD-II port, usually under the dashboard near the steering column. No tools and no wiring.
Then: Add the car in the Qarhami app with the device serial and choose its plan.
Battery: A 300 mAh backup battery. If the device is unplugged you get a tamper alert and it keeps reporting; how long depends on the car's use and the battery's condition.

Can I buy Qarhami Track and Qarhami OBD in one order?

Yes. Add either device to your order, set a quantity on each, and check out once. Your order shows every line and the devices total before you pay. Mix them however your fleet needs: Track for cars where you want lock, unlock and horn from the app, OBD for cars you want running without an installer.

Do I need a plan for every car?

Yes. Every car with a Qarhami device has its own monthly plan: $10, $13 or $15 for Qarhami Track, depending on how often you want location updates, or $9 for Qarhami OBD. You choose the plan in the Qarhami app when you add the car, not here at checkout, and you can change it any time.

When am I charged for the plan?

Not at checkout. Checkout here covers the devices only. A car's plan starts when you add the car in the Qarhami app: the first month is pro-rated, then every car bills together on the 1st.

Which device should I choose?

Choose Qarhami Track if you want to lock, unlock or sound the horn from the app, or give guests those controls through a Shared Access link. It's hardwired by an installer. Choose Qarhami OBD to be running in minutes: it plugs into the OBD-II port and adds fuel level and check-engine codes. Both run the same Fleet OS, and you can mix them in one order.

How is Qarhami Track installed?

It's hardwired under the dashboard. An experienced installer takes 30 to 45 minutes, plus about an hour to connect lock, unlock, horn and engine controls, then tests each feature on the Qarhami installer portal. We recommend a professional installer if you're new to vehicle wiring. The installation guide (PDF) covers every step.

Will Qarhami OBD fit my car?

Almost certainly. It plugs into the OBD-II port, which cars and light trucks sold in the US have had since the 1996 model year, usually under the dashboard near the steering column. No tools or wiring are needed. What each car reports, such as fuel level, varies by make, model and year.

What's the return policy?

You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to request a hardware return. Email support@qarhami.com first: items sent back without a return request can't be accepted. Approved refunds go to your original payment method within 10 business days. Plan charges aren't refundable, because they're pro-rated to active use.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is calculated at checkout from your address and what's in the order, and you'll see the cost before you pay. Taxes, where they apply, are calculated the same way. There are no other fees on the devices: the price on each card is the price you pay for the device.

Can I order for a large fleet?

Yes. For up to 10 devices, build the order in the fleet order and check out at list price. For more than 10, request fleet pricing there: tell us how many of each device you need and we'll send you a custom quote by email. Prefer a walkthrough first? Book a demo.
